Biography:
Matt is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland in College Park. He received his degree in Biological Sciences, with a specialization in Marine Biology. His studies covered a wide range of areas including protistology, marine ecology, oceanography, as well as evolutionary biology. He is currently working as the head biological science technician in Dr. Wayne Coats’ protistan ecology lab, at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center.
